Touchdown Jesus Mural

The Word of Life Mural, also known as the Touchdown Jesus Mural, is an iconic landmark at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. Created in 1964 by artist Millard Sheets, the massive mosaic depicts Jesus Christ with open arms, symbolizing love, acceptance, and the universality of Christ's teachings. Standing on the Hesburgh Library, the mural's size and location make it visible from various points on campus and during Notre Dame football games.
