What was life like in the 19th and early 20th century? Take a peek through the lens of the turn of the century by stepping into this little village comprised of 14 early homes and stores. Calliope Village, established in 1860 and the former seat of Sioux County, continued until 1910, being annexed by Hawarden. Buildings include a law office, courthouse, schoolhouse, and bank.
