Castles of Ida Grove

Byron Godbersen was the man behind the castles, a beyond-wealthy businessman with a fascination for medieval fortresses. He wasn't one to follow convention so instead of building boxy office buildings for his company, Midwest, he built these turreted structures. He also had a man-made lake constructed called Lake LaJune and a half-scale replica of the HMS Bounty floats on the surface.
