Danish Windmill

Saves: 17
Check-ins: 11
This windmill was built in Denmark in 1848 and brought to the U.S. piece by piece in 1976. This was a collaborative effort by the residents of Elk Horn (which has a large concentration of Danes) who sought to preserve the fading windmills of Europe. Other attractions here include replicas of Norse and Viking buildings and gift shops specializing in Danish products.
