Terrace Hill Historic Site

A.K.A. Hubbell Mansion, the Terrace Hill Historic Site is the official residence of Iowa's sitting govenor. The ornate architecture is Second Empire - an eclectic blend of European Reminiscent of a really fancy gingerbread house, Terrace Hill is not only a residence but a museum and gift shop too. While you take your tour you might be treated to the tinkling sounds of live piano music.
