Description:
A landmark cottonwood tree is a piece of history for Audubon County. When the county lines were being established the surveyor placed a cottonwood stick in the ground to mark the point where the county lines crossed. The tree which stands about 100 feet tall and measures 18 feet wide is about 165 years old - and is still one of the most remarkable roundabouts in the world.
