Standing proudly outside the Village Farm & Home Store, Waukon’s famous roadside duo includes a towering Muffler Man cowboy and an enormous fiberglass longhorn bull that have become must-see landmarks for travelers exploring northeast Iowa. The Muffler Man is part of a classic American tradition of giant fiberglass advertising figures that once dotted highways across the country, while the massive bull adds an extra dose of farm-country charm. Together, these larger-than-life statues create one of Iowa’s most memorable roadside photo stops and have earned recognition from roadside attraction enthusiasts nationwide.
