Warren is one of three giant wooden troll sculptures created by Danish recycling artist Thomas Dambo as part of Clinton, Iowa’s Tree Thieves installation. Built from reclaimed materials with the help of local volunteers, Warren stands near the historic railroad depot in downtown Clinton, helping tell the story of the city’s lumber industry heritage. Named after Warren Suehl, one of three local brothers who inspired the project, the towering troll invites visitors to explore Clinton while discovering Dambo’s message of creativity, sustainability, and reuse.
