Description:
Paul Boyer, who lost a leg in his thirties, started the Boyer Museum of Animated Art out of a beloved hobby. The wooden sculptures are hand-carved and move via motors that are also handcrafted. Some of the pieces reveal a zany sense of humor - "Stop Fixing the Outhouse" features a man fixing the roof of an outhouse where the door opens to reveal a disgruntled woman inside.
