Brown v Board of Education

In 1954 the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously ruled that racial segregation of children in public schools was unconstitutional. This is the building where that momentous decision was made with the reasoning that "separate educational facilities are inherently unequal." It is a historic site, a landmark that paved the way to further the Civil Rights Movement. (Submitted by Amber Malone)
