Oz Museum

Of course Kansas would be the state with the Oz Museum and Wamego is the city that has the honor. Featuring over 25,000 artifacts from "The Wizard of Oz," you'll be treated to a detailed history of the movie and actors, the author L. Frank Baum, and a variety of memorabilia. Unfortunately, Judy Garland's ruby slippers are at the Smithsonian but there is a dazzling pair on display here encrusted with red crystals by artist Jeffery Merrell for the 50th anniversary of the movie.
