Abbey of Gethsemani

Saves: 14
Check-ins: 3
The Neo-Gothic Abbey was established in 1848 and has since been the home of Trappist monks as well as a school for those who wish to join the order. There is also a cemetery and farmland. The monks support themselves by selling items such as fruitcake and bourbon fudge in the gift shop. If the monastery is not open, you can still drive to the parking area to take pictures of the buildings and the grounds.
