Cave Hill Cemetery

Containing military graves this cemetery was started in 1848 during the Antebellum South. Laid out in the Victorian architectural style, the graves are often marked by huge, ornate headstones and sculptures. Among its famous decedents resting alongside decorated military officers are Colonel Sanders (of KFC fame), boxer Muhammad Ali, and Mia Zapata (from the punk band The Gits).
