Daniel Boone's Grave

Daniel Boone's body has ended up in two graves that we know of. His remains have been a matter of controversy as he was originally buried in Missouri. His grave was robbed and many of his bones were moved to this new resting place in Kentucky. Besides the novelty of the story behind his grave the Frankfort Cemetery sits in an ideal locale on a cliff overlooking the river. Call the cemetery to verify hours for the day you plan to visit.
