A 3-mile round trip hike leads through the emerald Kentucky forest with its destination being the 44-foot-tall waterfall. Shaded by trees, part of your hike will be strenuous with the elevation change. Hikers love this trail for the oddly beautiful characteristics such as passing under cliff overhangs and its awesome panoramic view of the expansive Cumberland Falls. You can also swim in the hole under Eagle Falls if the weather permits. You'll start your hike at the Eagle Falls Trailhead Parking located right off of Cumberland Falls Rd. To see the Cumberland Falls up close you can park at the Visitor Center lot on the other side of the river.
