Heigold House

Once the front of a stately mansion in an affluent neighborhood called "Frenchmen's Row," the Heigold House Façade is engraved with many icons and symbols espousing American ideals. The builder, Christian Heigold, was a German immigrant who wanted to pay homage to the opportunities that America had afforded him. Unfotunately, he and his house encountered many difficulties after it was built in 1853. Fast forward to today and only the ornate facade is left.
