Kentucky Reptile Zoo

This non-profit organization is a reptile haven but it specializes in venomous snakes. The zoo's primary focus is research on anti-venom to save human lives but they ensure that the venom is collected without harming the snakes. Tours are offered in all the buildings but they warn that the indoor climate is warm in the summer to accommodate the animals. Venom extractions are also part of the tours although the times for the demonstrations vary from day to day.
