Kentucky State Capitol

Building of the grand Kentucky State Capitol commenced in 1905 and finished in 1909. It was designed by the renowned architech Frank Mills Andrews who used the Beaux-Arts style as well as French inspiration for the interior design. Deemed by many to be one of the prettiest capitols in the U.S., the tours offered here are first-rate with knowledgeable guides who have plenty of stories to tell about the history of Kentucky.
