Perryville Battlefield

Fought in 1862, the Battle of Perryfield was a pivotal event in the American Civil War. Following this juncture, the Union seized and remained in control of Kentucky for the rest of the war. The museum and historic site are open from April to October although you'll have to visit in October to see the reenactments.
