A large collection of artifacts and information detailing President Lincoln's entire life is housed in this museum founded in 2005 and managed by his hometown. The Illinois State Historical Library also occupies space here along with life-size dioramas of Lincoln's childhood home and the Ford Theater presidential box in which he sat before his assassination, multimedia shows, and plenty of original artifacts such as the signed Gettysburg Address. This is a must-see for everyone - history buff or not. (Submitted by Anthony Von Plinsky)
