Description:
This 134-acre piece of land known as the Louisville Zoological Garden exhibits over 1,700 animals in naturalistic settings which simulate geographical areas. Some of its popular exhibits include Islands, Wallaroo Walkabout, and Lorikeet Landing. A piece of trivia - the world's first immaculate conception of a reticulated python occurred here - the 11-year-old Thelma gave birth to six babies without any male assistance.
