The best and most fascinating way to get to the Red River Gorge is by using the Nada Tunnel. Used by loggers in the early 20th century, the tunnel was constructed by blasting out limestone. This craggy gateway is also a one-way road for vehicle traffic - but it only has a 12-foot clearance.
