Description:

In the midst of Butchertown which is known for its meat industry, Thomas Edison rented out this cottage from 1866 to 1867 while he worked in a telegraph office in Louisville. Today, it's a museum, exhibiting Edison's life and inventions. There is an admission fee and call ahead to make sure the museum is open on the day you'd like to visit.
