Waverly Hills Sanatorium

This sprawling structure was built originally as a treatment center in the earl 1900s for tuberculosis patients. Afterwards, it became a low-security prison. Today, the Gothic-style building is an attraction, offering paranormal tours for those people who like to pay to be scared. With its history as both a sanitorium and a prison, the stories of its hauntings are numerous and rampant, which the historical society is happy to capitalize on.
