World's Largest Vampire Bat

Suspended upside down on the side of a building next to Caulfield's Novelty, this black bat with the intimidating blood-drinking flying mammal might be representative of the many caves that Kentucky is famous for. It's also an indirect advertisement for Caulfield's which sells Halloween costumes and gag gifts. The giant bat which measures 24 feet long and 16 feet wide was designed by store owner Kerry Caulfield. (Submitted by Anthony Von Plinsky)
