BREC's Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center in Baton Rouge, LA is a 103-acre nature preserve and educational facility dedicated to conservation, recreation, and connecting visitors with Louisiana’s unique ecosystems. The center features an award-winning exhibit building with live animal displays, flora and fauna exhibits, and a vintage waterfowl decoy collection, plus over a mile of trails and boardwalks through cypress-tupelo swamp and hardwood forests. Wildlife sightings are abundant, and seasonal programs, bird walks, and family-friendly events make it a great destination for nature lovers of all ages.
