Nottoway Plantation House

With 53,000 square feet of floor space this is the largest Antebellum mansion in the South. John Randolph commissioned the mansion and it was finished in 1859. Apparently he was so possessive of the architecture that he destroyed the plans after it was completed. Now it is a resort destination that has been featured on TV shows. For about $200 per night, you can book a room - really a great price that is comparable to the average hotel but with more history and class.
