The Logan Mansion, located at 725 Austen Place in Shreveport, LA, is considered by some to be one of the most haunted houses in the southern United States. Built in 1897 by a wealthy local businessman named James Logan, the mansion has a storied history filled with tragedy and paranormal activity. Legend has it that the ghost of a young girl named Annie, who died in the house, still haunts the Logan Mansion to this day. Visitors have reported hearing her giggling, playing the piano, and even seeing her apparition wandering the halls. There are also reports of a male spirit that haunts the mansion, believed to be the ghost of Mr. Logan himself. Visitors have reported hearing footsteps, doors opening and closing, and even feeling a presence in the room with them.
