Chamberlain Freedom Park

Saves: 2
Check-ins: 3
A tiny park is named after Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain, a Union colonel in the Civil War. The park is known, however, for its sculpture of a man climbing out of a tunnel - a tribute to the enslaved people who escaped via the Underground Railroad. To see "North to Freedom," walk down the rock path toward the intersection below. (Submitted by Shirley Beauchemin Thurston)
