Colonel Buck's Cursed Tomb
Saves: 1
Check-ins: 5
Everyone loves a good witch story! Unfortunately, this one is most likely fabricated. Jonathan Buck was a justice in the late 1700s. He supposedly ordered the execution of an accused witch who then cursed his tomb. There is a distinct mark on his tomb that looks like the dangling leg of a woman. His heirs supposedly replaced the marker a couple of times, but the leg kept reappearing. It is a fascinating tale, even if no one was ever tried for witchcraft in Maine!
