This is the largest electric railway museum in the world, giving visitors a glimpse into a simpler past - when trolleys were on the streets traveling between cities. Mill workers in the early 1900s often took the trolleys to coastal towns to spend the weekend after a long week of labor. Also at the museum are displays of the history behind public transportation and real working trolleys that visitors can hop on and ride!
