The Wedding Cake House

This charming house is apparently the most photographed abode in the state of Maine. Named because it looks like a vanilla cake topped with buttercream frosting, the house has survived the harsh Maine weather - from sweltering summers to freezing winters. It hasn't come out wholly unscathed; some of its "icing" has broken off. Hopefully this 200-year-old house will soon receive the attention it deserves. The Wedding Cake House is a stop along Walker's Point which also includes the spectacular Blowing Cave down by the rocky shore.
