West Quoddy Head Lighthouse

This lighthouse along with its unique red-and-white stripes has the distinction of being on the eastern-most point of the contiguous United States. It's 3rd order Fresnel lens is the only 3rd order in Maine. If you are wondering why this is called "West Quoddy," the reason is because Canada has a Quoddy lighthouse that is even further east than the Maine beacon.
