Although this lighthouse is a replica of an original that was built 1871. The lighthouse is situated in a charming but precarious-looking spot on the Choptank River but it's a wonderful spot for those looking for a something quick and easy to do. The observation deck is a mere 20 steps high so it is a nice sightseeing landmark for most activity levels - and you're provided with unparalleled views of the river and Cambridge Creek.
