Description:
Folk art and duck decoys are the focus of this museum, opened in 1986. Duck decoys have been an important part of Chesapeake culture for centuries, but today they are more artistic than functional. In centuries past they were used to lure unsuspecting ducks for hunters. Other exhibits explore the history behind the Susquehanna Flats and the carvers behind the incredible duck decoys. The museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 to 4:30 and Sunday from 12 to 4. Admission is $6 for adults.
