The market is called the Green Onion but its distinguishing feature is a giant carrot skewering the top vertex of the brick building. The corner decoration is something that would normally look kitschy but the Green Onion pulls it off with aplomb, adding to - not taking away - from the charm and sophistication of this European-style fresh grocer.
