Description:
Spanning the Patapsco River in a scenic, woodsy area, the Grist Mill Walking Bridge is built for pedestrians exclusively along the Grist Mill trail. It has quite a history though. There were two preceding bridges built for the B & O Railroad but both were washed away by floods. Finally, the railroad bridge was moved to a different location while a walking bridge was built in its place.
