Remains of Enchanted Forest

Next to a Safeway shopping center is a closed-down theme park. Opened in 1955, it enjoyed a couple a few decades of prosperity. A castle, gingerbread house, and a Cinderella-themed ride with mouse-cars were a few of the attractions. However, being in competition with other theme parks in Baltimore and along the Eastern seaboard had a slow, but devastating impact. The park finally closed down in 1989. While the fortress walls still enclose the park, everything inside has either been moved or demolished.
