Spocott Windmill

This English-style post windmill is Maryland's last of its kind. From dawn to dusk, any day of the year, feel free to wander around the property. The Adaline Wheatley Cottage, the doctor's office, school, and mill are only open on Sundays during limited hours but it's worth waiting out the week to see them. Although restored and maintained, they retain much of the quaint charm of the late 1800s and have many of the original artifacts inside.
