Turkey Point Lighthouse

The tower itself is a mere 35 feet high which is more than adequate given the 100-foot bluff on which it stands. Even with the tower's petite height, it is the third tallest light in the Chesapeake Bay. Another interesting fact is that this tower had four women serving as lighthouse keeper - which has been uncommon in lighthouse history.
