Earl of Sandwich

Once used as a men's restroom in the 1970s, now a delicious octagon-shaped sandwich shop. The Earl of Sandwich is a popular chain of sandwich restaurants that was founded in 2004 by Robert Earl, the British restaurateur and the founder of Planet Hollywood. The chain is named after John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich, who is credited with inventing the sandwich in the 18th century. (Submitted by Sarah Reader)
