Martha's Vineyard is spectacular but the Oak Bluffs community is what stands out here. The bright and colorful "gingerbread" cottages located in the Wesleyan Grove are a delight for summer tourists. You'll find a cottage representing every color of the rainbow and then hues in between. The delicate, lacey woodwork trim is evocative of the white icing on a Christmas gingerbread house. Some of the cottages are for rent although you might find a waiting list stretching years into the future.
