Description:

This medieval-style castle was a four year endeavor of John Hays Hammond, completed in 1929. He built this grand palatial abode to serve as both his home and to house his collection of rare artifacts dating back to ancient Rome. Fortunately for us common folk, we can explore the castle and grounds on our own while we fantasize about the lives of the filthy rich.
