The stunning Art Deco building with an elegant L-shape with beveled corners was built entirely of steel and glass - the first of its kind. Inside 20,000 square feet housed John Woodman Higgins' museum-worthy collection of European armor. Financial problems resulted in the collection being moved to another museum. Today it's an office building and events venue - its palace-like interior perfect for wedding receptions. (Submitted by Gina Robertson)
