Description:

Every person can bang out the melody of "Mary Had a Little Lamb" on a keyboard - that is how popular and timeless this little ditty is. Little do people know, this seemingly random song was inspired by an actual event. Mary Sawyer, in 1830, was a little schoolgirl with a pet lamb who was denied the right to bring her woolen companion. This schoolhouse, built in 1798, was relocated from its original location to Sudbury by Henry Ford.
