Description:

The mill was built in 1746 by Nathan Wilbur who conceived of its design because of his travels to Holland. While many mills have been rebuilt this one remains the oldest functioning mill in the country. It has been faithfully maintained and thus grinds corn just as well as it did in the 1700s. Tickets can be purchased online or in person and include the Whaling Museum as well. The price is $20 per person. Hours differ according to season; please see the website for more details.
