Description:

Also known as the Peter Toth Indian Head, this carved statue is one of 75 of the Hungarian artist's works in a collection called "The Trail of Whispering Giants" - all created between the 1970s and the 1990s. There is at least one in each of the 50 U.S. states. This particular one was installed in 1984. To get there, take Forest Park south entrance at the corner of US-5/Columbus Ave. and Laurel Hill Rd. Park in the softball field lot across Laurel Hill Rd. You may need to pay a few dollars for parking.
