Pawtucket Falls

Fed by the Merrimack River this wide cascade drops 32 feet, falling into a foamy rush of water below. This is one destination that doesn't require a lot of legwork; you can easily see the falls from the comfort of a nice bridge that overlooks the river. Leave enough time for other activities in Lowell; this lively city has a lot to offer.
