This 252-foot tall campanile commemorates the landing of the Pilgrims in 1620 and the signing of the Mayflower Compact. It is the tallest structure in the U.S. made of 100% granite, completed in 1910, and officiated by President Roosevelt who laid the first stone. Despite being very slender, visitors can climb 116 steps to the top.
