These brightly spray-painted rock formations have a treacherous past. Massachusetts is known for her quarries and Quincy was one of those towns that made a financial killing from the high quality stone. Another type of killing was commonplace here too - intrepid but foolish divers plunged unknowingly to their deaths after the quarries had been exhausted.
